Online Manual Handling Training
This manual handling online course outlines exactly what is considered as manual handling. The course covers the regulations and legislation that apply to safe lifting and moving tasks, safe handling techniques and how to develop good habits in relation to the human body.
Our video-based course will teach how to lift, lower, fill, empty, or carry loads and will introduce some practical solutions and the use of mechanical aids. Our manual handling online training course is designed for all levels of staff that undertake lifting and moving operations. Poor technique can have significant consequences on your health resulting in musculoskeletal disorders, particularly if you regularly carry out transportation of items by lifting, carrying, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving. Ensuring good practice helps to reduce workplace accidents and staff absence as a result of an injury.
This course is approved by the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM).
